This case report describes the clinical course of a 75-year-old patient with diffuse facial melasma and lentigines treated using the NewMelan® Depigmentation Protocol, developed by Dr. Eduardo Krulig. The publication documents visible improvement in hyperpigmentation and overall skin tone uniformity during the first weeks of treatment, with no adverse events reported during the observation period. As is customary in this type of publication, the authors emphasize the need for larger studies and long-term follow-up to confirm these findings and evaluate their clinical reproducibility. 

This case report describes the clinical course of a 64-year-old female patient with refractory centrofacial melasma treated using the NewMelan® Depigmentation Protocol. The publication documents a progressive and visible reduction in facial hyperpigmentation during the first weeks of treatment following the failure of multiple conventional therapies, including chemical peels, mechanical peels, and laser-based treatments. A significant improvement in cosmetic appearance was also observed, accompanied by a high level of patient satisfaction. As is customary with case reports, the authors emphasize the need for larger clinical studies and longer-term follow-up to confirm these findings and further evaluate the efficacy, safety, and durability of the observed outcomes.
